➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Oh my gosh! Well I understand completely! I've been to a few large cities a hand full of times but thank goodness I've never encountered anything like that myself. That's about enough to run a person off for good. Sake would've been nice though.
I don't know how bad it is in the rest of the country, but Washington is HORRIBLE in regards to homeless people. They practically encourage it here. It's completely insane. There are so many in Seattle that they've started moving into the Tacoma area. A bummer because Tacoma was/is really getting its act together. It's a nice little city... but now the bums have moved in.

Ohhh nooo. That’s terrible. I’m so sorry Prairie! I agree, Benadryl and ice! A paste made of baking soda or crushed up aspirin can really help too.

For your back?
I sleep with a microwaveable heating pack most nights. Sometimes I don’t really need it, it just feels nice lol.
Yes. I was using a heating pad but switched to ice.
I'm almost back to normal.

Hadn’t heard of the baking soda trick. :)Thanks Tes! I’ll definitely keep it in my back pocket. I have a fairly high pain tolerance so it’s not too bad, but the swelling is lame.

Couldn’t end the summer on a good note of course.

Got stung in the face multiple times by hornets. :hmm Sure gonna look great for the first day back tomorrow
You should tell people that you saved a litter of kittens from being swarmed and took the brunt of the stings. Or maybe a baby. Either way, you saved something.

Puppies!
You saved puppies.

The baking soda is a life saver. It really takes the itch out too when that part starts.
