We have a lot of black walnut trees around here. The squirrels devour them. I remember when I first saw the green ball type outer casing they have. I didn't know what the heck it was. LOL.

I automatically assume anyone that says anything other than "pee-cahn" is high or drunk.
Somewhere there is a picture of me dressed as the cat in the hat with Things 1&2. If you do that, you could make the youngest Little Cat Z. And anyone who refused to dress up is "a librarian" or "the storytime reader who makes the story come to life". Make them carry the book.
When mine went their first year, they had just turned 3 and I made white kitty cat costumes because they were obsessed with cats. And I used a Sharpie to put whiskers and noses on so they didn't wipe it off. They won a costume contest at the park, wore their costumes to story time at the library, and went to a daytime trick or treat event at the town square. So, I got three uses from all of that work.![]()
Yes it is. My grandfather had nut orchards and so he was my expert on these things and he said puh-con. He also said it's a-mund because they knock the L out of them at harvest.
It's puhcon for me. All muns, I have a tendency to drop the d at the end. Not always but most of the time. Pray lean (praline) is correct (and are yummy!). ! I always say en-velope. Not IN or ON. EN. So, EHN? Anyways... who says EYE talian? That sounds like a really bad Gone With The Wind type southern accent. At least in my head it does lol! Why yes I will have the salad with some eye-tail-i-yun (sound it out lol) dressing on the side....![]()
That's too funny!
When i was a kid we had all kind of fruit trees and stuff and 4 pucan trees. My dad used to ram them with the truck to assist in picking. Did it with the eating and cooking pears too. I also remember the bees around the pear trees after they would start falling and rotting on the ground

The almonds were harvested with padded bats and a special vehicle that shook the tree at the trunk. They'd fall onto canvas tarps and be gathered up while the next tree was being shaken. When i was a kid we had all kind of fruit trees and stuff and 4 pucan trees. I think I sometimes drop the D on almonds too but not usually but idk.
Now I’m all confused as to what I actually say cause I think it changes a lot
It didn’t damage the trees!?
And did you ever get stung by the bees?
OMG lol
When shes in the nest box does she puff up and growl when you try to mess with her?
