I figured you saved him when you said he almost drowned rather than did drown but I wasn’t sure if you saved him or if he got himself out eventually or what lol plus I need to hear this story.

My mom woke me up yelling about a pillow.
“A what?!”
“A pillow! I thought it was a pillow! And then it turned around and it has EYES! HE’S GONNA DROWN!”

He was waterlogged in our overflow. Floating, but would have drowned pretty soon. He was so exhausted that he didn’t even fight us, just stared with those huge eyes and let it happen.
Anyway, I got him out and towel dried him off and let him rest in the garage as long as he wanted.
We took photos of him with a “real” camera but they’re on my laptop. I have a couple videos of him hooting too.
