➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

You dork. We were the only ones in our theater too. It was pretty cool. Matinees are the best!
That movie was freaking terrifying.
I was not expecting it to be so much darker and scarier than the first, and I really loved it.

One of the first scares at the beginning... with the little girl and the bleachers.
Dude, I almost had a heart attack. I was nervous laughing for 5 minutes.

:lau me too! Unless we should maybe live separately to avoid being tracked? Or should we have an underground colony?

Also how are we gonna lose them? They’ll be able to tell where we are if they track our car or phone or anything or catch us on security cameras. We’ve got to elude the cameras and GPS tracking and also the satellites. Lots of satellites up there from Google to the government. Sure they’re taking pictures/finding us too. Hmmm....

Maybe we switch cars to throw them off?? Wear all black and a full mask and travel at night to avoid detection? Use walkie talkies instead of cell phones? Can walkie talkies be tracked? Phones and all modern tech can so we will have to turn location off or turn the phone itself off entirely and then smash all our phones, bury them, and/or leave them at home. I vote for smashing the phones.

I think I could go without my phone if it was for a cool spy mission like this.

Watch, now I’ll probably get blacklisted or something. They watch for certain keywords too.

Even if we’re joking lol
First, there aren't any cameras in rural areas. Except maybe game cameras. You could easily go a significant distance without being tracked in a car. Once you go far enough, you'll need to just walk because the roads won't take cars any more. The tree cover prevents satellites from spotting us. Walkie talkies operate via radio, but I don't know the specifics on if they're trackable. No devices should come at all. You can't disable much without rooting the device, and even then, you probably can't get internet where I'm heading.
Separate dwellings with meetups for resource swapping and task completion sounds safest and nicest.

I cannot put into words just how much I do not want to watch this movie.

Really? I thought it was kinda funny. The bleacher scene was legit creepy. My favorite from the whole movie. Oh, and that horrifying scene when Bev is retrieving her artifact and she encounters Pennywise in the basement scraping the paint onto his face...

I also really enjoyed it, but I thought it was overall a bit too long. They could've cut about a half hour and it would've been perfect.

Boomer apparently had a small cut on the back of his leg from rolling in the vet's squeeze chute. The penicillin and dexamethazone should have helped that, but Boomer chose to keep lying down in the cool mud instead of lying on the shady grass. It got infected. It is better now.
Oh yes, I remember you saying this now. My bad!
Glad he’s feeling better now. He looks like a sweet guy.
Saw this and couldn’t help but laugh because these are definitely not pure GSD :lau they almost look like they have at least 3 different dads? Although the mom looks pure so who knows

Just FYI, white German shepherds are a thing and they are technically pure GSD.

Yep, definitely too long for my squirrel bladder. This was also after a full school day and my eyelids were getting heavy.

Zombie kid who drives around insane dude was just stupid. The old lady monster was odd but I love the concept.
Pennywise was much scarier in this one than the first, in my opinion. Definitely much gorier (which I am all for). I liked the first half a lot.
I thought the ending was a little lackluster, but that might just be personal taste. I’m not a fan of perfect endings, which is funny because of the running gag with author guy’s book.

Don’t all cars have trackers built in though? But man, I LOVE this. You have it all planned out already. You must think about this a lot :lau can we do all of this? I would love it. And I think it’d probably be good for me :lau except I think I’m probably the weakest link and I don’t know that I’d be able to walk far... especially if I had to carry a backpack or anything. You might have to leave me behind :lau

And I think that sounds the most practical for sure!! Although it might get a bit lonely down there.

They'd BETTER not, or I'm switching to horse and buggy.

Oh, there's not a day that goes by when I don't think about it. When I retire and don't need the Internet for work, I'm ditching it all and heading to the unorganized counties of the north.

Yarp. The ending was pretty lame, but that's Stephen King for you. He usually ends up being just a little bit too weird. I loved the first one too. Thought it was pretty much perfect. Pennywise was way creepier in this one, though. Plus, as you mentioned, the gore was spot on. Overall, pretty great.

Thanks, that’s helpful. I’ve heard of white GSDs and do know they exist but idk.. these pups are just so many different colors and also their structure/fur seems off? Also can GSDs have blue eyes?? I think some of them do unless I’m seeing that wrong? The white pups wasn’t the only reason I was saying that but def part of it. But they just look off to me but maybe they had some recessive genes show?
