➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I got a new restraining cone in Friday. I have too many roos from packing peanuts and the easter HAL. I'm seriously considering sending everyone to freezer camp and starting over in spring with just female Buff Orpingtons. They are my favorite birds.

The current girls are mutts for the most part and one of them is an egg eater. I tried getting a way too expensive roll out nest but they wont use it. If I start from scratch in the spring I can deep clean my coop, reconfigure it with just the nice roll out nest box and train the new girls to the new nest. Plus I wont have to have anyone come take care of the birds when I travel in November and April.

I'll just get some orp girls and maybe try again with my quailies. :D I finally got the grow out pen bullet proof.

i tell people when they're first getting into games to start off mit spending alot of money (and games can get quite expensive the most ive sold eggs for was around 400.00 for a dozen regular price is anywhere from 80.00 to 200.00 a dozen) at first on birds cause in a couple years yhey may fund out what they bought may not actually be what thry were told and to spend it on housing and such and when they start learning whats what and start to get connections for quality birds then start spending some money. Then after they are in the loop of gamefowl people chances are they will never pay for another bird. Usually birds are gifted and given. In other news i got word if my first broodfowl that will be coming here around February. A rockytop kelso broodcock im pretty excited. Ill breed him over my kelso hens to have sime fresh blood and have some vigor. Ill be breeding my roundheads and my blues also. I should be getting word of other broodfowl coming here for breedung season
