Did they take a tube or two of blood to test when you went for this physical?
Did you have to not eat for hourrrsss before the appointment?
If not then make an appointment for a full blood workup before you have to pay thousands of dollars for it.

They tested all those things/do full bloodwork every physical and I think I had it done a second time after the physical too cause he wanted to test the blood sugar thing again to see if it was still high. And I did fast for both. It was real, full blood work. I watched the blood come out and into like 3 tubes and the blood pressure is always perfect haha

I think some other super important or possibly more important things to have tested/checked out before the insurance ends are my eyes, ears/sinuses, and my shoulder.

I haven’t had my eyes tested in years or really ever, I think like once when I was little, and with as much as I use my phone I don’t think that’s good. I’ve noticed some very slight differences too. Then I’d like to see an ENT cause I’ve had some weird stuff going on for a while with my sinuses/ears. Nothing serious thankfully but wanna get it checked out. And my shoulder’s been bugging me off and on lately and it’s also been a little weird for years but never bothered me before.

I should definitely start making appointments cause there might be a wait.

Thanks! I’ll definitely have to do that! But wait.... I thought it was 26??? Is it different per state? Here it’s 26 which, for me, isn’t until March 31st, so I’ve still got a little bit of time, but I definitely need to go.

Oh and this is kind of random but finally got Luna a grooming appointment. She goes Thursday morning.

Not doing the full shave this time though I don’t think. We’ll see. Depends what they say/think I guess.

I think it’s a little too close to winter for the full shave though.

Plus she’s usually miserable for a while when we do that. She likes her coat I guess LOL

I would too. It’s beautiful.

So anyway, I guess we’ll maybe just do a sanitary shave or something.

She has some mats on her butt/back legs that I know need to come off and then I guess it depends what else they find. I haven’t felt any others though so I think sanitary will be fine.

I think she will be much happier with those mats removed.

I’ve been trying to work with her some to let me brush her and she’s been getting a little better with it.
