Yes!Maybe Friday is the lucky day anyhow. That's when you made the fateful journey to pick up your very first balut eggs, right?
I showed her a candle video on my phone...she killed herself laughing.I have a quick story.
I was at the Mini's school field day this morning.
I met another parent who was Vietnamese and starting asking about balut.
She is the one who told me they DO sell it at the other store and she recommended that I go buy it there because she prefers that store.
I am thinking she might prefer the second store because they keep the eggs in the fridge and might be a little fresher vs. the original store who keeps them on the counter?
She though it was hilarious that I was trying to incubate them!
In a dark closet, with zero lights on, and a bright flashlight. Now I will probably have to candle (not that I know what I am looking at LOL ). I have one broody who is a champ and is caring for her share of the eggs wonderfully. And another who decided she doesn't like her new nest. She had been off the nest chatting with Oreo and Maude through the fencing for a while and I decided to check. Eggs in her nest were cool to the touch and while I was checking she jumped out and ran to the coop, back to the nest she had been sitting on. I moved a few of her eggs under my "good" broody and placed Miss Badness back in the broody cage. If it takes I will probably try to move those eggs back under Miss Badness, what a mess! Any ideas on how best to candle very dark eggs? Anyone?
