➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

What has you so busy today? Hopefully something good!?
Always good stuff...but I've been sitting in a barber shop for almost two hours now and probably won't be outta here for another 30 minutes.
:barnie

I'm done for the day after this...I don't cook quickly so I won't have time to make that.

She pulled it out of the trash after it had been in there for some days (it was already “bad” when we threw it out). I’ve personally never seen a dog with food poisoning but I’m confident that’s the problem.
Must’ve been some rank chicken. :sick

yes, she does have a very sensitive tummy. Triumph has a stomach of steel and he still had a rough time.

Oh wow! Naughty girl!! Maybe this will teach her. :lau

Probably not though, I don’t think dogs remember that far ha or at least wouldn’t connect that to this.

And oh wow that must have been some nasty chicken then if even he is sick!!! :sick

Gator usually had a stomach of steel too.

One time we had accidentally left some like knock off Oreos on the counter and he jumped up and ate like half the pack!

We didn’t think he could reach the counter let alone the middle. We learned fast after that and never left food out.

Anyway, we were super super worried and called the vet in a panic freaking out but they said that since he was so big (over 100 pounds) and since they were knock offs and not much actual chocolate in them that he would probably be fine but just to watch him. Thankfully, they were right and he was fine. I don’t even think he even got sick. He was just really hyper for a while. :lau

But we were very careful after that.

He was probably like 120 or 130 pounds at the time so he was totally fine.

I remember though I Googled it frantically trying to figure out how much was deadly and at his size, even if was pure chocolate, he would have had to eat like pounds of it. But it was still scary.

He was young still and it was before we knew of his counter-surfing abilities. :lau

Also another time we had a yellow Lab before him who once stole and entire ham. We had left it on the counter for some reason and he stole and ate the entire thing.... we had to go out for dinner that night. :lau he was perfectly fine too but he was drinking tons of water for days after. :lau

I actually think Bailey had even more of an iron stomach than Gator. That dog would eat anything and I never remember him being sick!! Gator did have some stuff that didn’t agree with him. But usually he had an iron stomach.
