I have the razor edge knife, I have sharpened them. I can do 7 birds before I need to sharpen or replace. I have to take the blade out to clean because the fat gets stuck in there.

I have cut gloves, I can't get the fat out of them and it gets rancid. I have soak them in dawn, washed them in clothes washer on sterilization cycle. I gave up
I have fat birds I guess

Put them in boiling water for a few minutes before giving a heavy dose of dish detergent.
