➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

This has a lot to do with the country of origin.

I never thought of that before but that makes sense. I just figured each brand had their own sizes or something.

I have a ton of T-shirts from husband's work. His boss sends me tshirts, sweatshirts, yeti cups, coolers, hats, calendars, and tons of swag. He always says he's going to give me all the swag he can until I'm swagged out. It'll never happen

:lau that is awesome!!

I wear 8.5... shopping for size 8.5 sucks. Everyone else where's that size! they never have the shoes that I like in my size because everybody else is already bought them.

My youngest wears a 4 and I can never find anything in his size because he's a popular size for kids.

My 14 year old is in a mens 10... He will be in a 14 when he's fully grown and have to special order all his shoes. Size 14 runs in his dad's family!

Oh wow that must suck!! I never thought of being a popular size or the problems associated with it. Sorry. :hugs

And OMG! I thought I had giant feet! :th

I’ve given up on women’s clothes sizing. I have to try on dresses and jeans (I HATE buying jeans), but for t-shirts and sweaters I just size up. I like my everyday clothes baggy anyway.

My pet peeve is the pathetic tissue paper material they make some shirts out of. I swear that crap disintegrates after two washes.
Looking at you, Target.

:lau yeah, I’m the same. Although I don’t wear many sweaters or dresses or anything.

But yeah clothes are definitely comfier bigger. I hate super tight clothes haha

In fact, skinny jeans bother me and even those pants with the bands around the ankles. I hate those. Hate tight around the ankles in general but will tolerate it but those bands are the worst!

I think I do have a pair or two of skinny jeans or similar, have one that’s not jeans, but even those ones I buy them slightly bigger so that they’re not super tight. Which defeats the purpose of the skinny thing but I hate it and can’t do it :lau

And yes!! Women’s clothes are awful! Such crappy quality.

I actually have some Target clothes I bought a while ago and never wore and now you have me nervous. :lau

:lauso true! I try to find jeans and it's impossible some days. I found a few dresses I like so far, but I'm always outside doing something with the chicks or my layer flock.

Today we are choosing 4 chicks to be with the layer flock. They're 5 weeks today, I need to figure out names.

I haven’t bought jeans in a while but definitely can be hard to find good ones sometimes. Thankfully I usually know what kind I like now.

I have a few different pairs but need to find them. Haven’t worn them in a while cause it’s too hot in summer haha

Although, actually, I may need to buy new jeans. And shorts. Clothes in general. I doubt they fit me anymore. I’ve lost weight. Although I did have some pairs that were tight that I purposely kept that might fit now. :fl but some are probably too big.

And oddly I like dresses but really never wear them. But dresses are pretty comfortable especially if you get the right material unlike most women’s clothes.

I don’t have that many though.

And that’s awesome!!

Or the shirts you put on that are pretty much see through :thill wear t-shirts from my DH work any day. They love it and call me their walking billboard :lauSome days I'll even have a baseball cap on that has their name on it.

I hate those!! Some people don’t seem to mind though or wear shirts that are basically just a bra and I’m like  :th

I hate anything like that. I even hate shirts that are too low LOL

Although I think technically you’re supposed to wear something under some of these shirts but I don’t have any or not many. I need to buy some haha

But I hate layers anyway.

Forgot to post yesterday but I made dinner again last night.

Oh and this was breakfast the other day.

And I made extra last night so I’m currently eating leftovers for lunch along with some berries and a few saltines just for the carbs since this doesn’t have any. We only have ginormous sweet potatoes and I’d rather not cook a giant one just for me. Might cook some up to add to it tonight though.

Our local REI actually stocks size 14 shoes. Of course that size doesn’t sell as well as smaller sizes so DH has scored some awesome deals from their clearance section.

Maybe my son will luck out then when he's older!

I am sure there are probably more stores that do too. There is this store near my mom’s family in PA called Gabes that always has huge shoes. Maybe you have something like that near you.

I'm extremely particular about my shoes. My wife is particular too but hates going with me. It usually turns into an all day thing store to store and sometimes go home empty handed. And I'm a 10.5 so if I do find something it's not in stock so I have to buy it online. My wife got me some Adidas with the cloud foam and I couldn't wear them they feel disgusting to me. It feels like when your feet get wet and I can't handle that feel.
