A new family moved in on our street recently.
Yesterday the mom was out front with their new puppy.

I put the brakes on quick.

I rolled my window down and introduced myself to the lady and asked her if the mini could play with the dog for a minute and she said of course.


Today, after school, He insisted that I take him to go buy the puppy a toy.



It's a precious little Weimaraner.

It isn't going to stay little. My brother used to have them.

The oldest boy just brought the puppy over to say thank you for the toy.

Yup, they’re real.

I couldn’t find very many when I was googling though so not sure if many people breed them but just type in merle chihuahua breeder Texas or something hahah

Sure they exist.

They’re probably crazy expensive.

Nah, there are plenty of reputable breeders out there. But honestly most breeders that are only breeding for color, be it merle or something else, or that charge way more for certain coat or eye colors, etc. probably aren’t the most reputable breeders. Find one with healthy parents/breeding good temperament first and hopefully they will have merle puppies available.

Pound puppies are great!! Libby and Franklin are pound puppies and look how cute they are.

We got ours today too and my Seed Savers Exchange catalogue. They’re both so pretty.

I haven’t looked through mine yet. Been busy lol
