Change, you must! Beans are high protein, low calorie and healthy. Due to the fiber content, will satiate you and this leads to less hunger for longer. A good thing. The processed food shoot through you, giving you lots of calories and no feeling of fullness.

Thanks!! I’ll definitely to try that. I’m sure all the snacks and crap is probably why I’m constantly hungry cause I have noticed when I actually make the effort to eat protein and/or carbs and real stuff then I’m full for longer.

Although that said, sometimes even something like chicken and veggies isn’t always enough and I’ll still be hungry because I’m used to eating more or more filling stuff.

Like I tried sautéed spinach, kale, bell peppers, and chicken once but I was still hungry. Although I had a pretty small plate but still. Think it needed a carb like sweet potato in it or maybe I just needed to eat more of it haha idk.

I’ll try the bean thing though.

I stopped eating them for a while cause they would give me a lot of gas and/or sometimes pain but I’m better now and have been taking probiotics and stuff so I think I’d be okay but I’ve been kind of afraid to try it again. But maybe certain kinds of beans are better than others.

I’ve been trying not to eat as much processed stuff anymore and not eat out or at least I was trying that. Been pretty bad lately. I’m gonna get back to eating better and cooking when we get home.

Anyway, point with that is I’ve been eating bread and stuff still even though I try not to eat the super processed stuff and it’s pretty filling but I should probably fill up on protein rather than empty carbs and sugar. :lau

Can you cook beans in an instant pot? Maybe that should be the first thing I make haha

BIL lived in an apartment. All apartments have roaches. He got a hog nosed snake and turned it loose for roach control. Ergo, instant roach control.

I propose if the roaches get loose, turn a snake loose. Or a lizard. Better yet, HOUSE CHICKENS!

:lau now you’re making me never want to move out ever!! I’d rather stay at home than move in with roaches and/or mice. :sick:sick:sick

Every chicken coop I've ever had has been infested with cockroaches. I wonder if ferrets would eat them?
The roaches, not the chickens.. heh.

Anyway, dubias are the fat, slow, pothead cousins of cockroaches. They just curl up and die outside of their enclosure, much like me outside of my house.

The current batch is excavating the deep litter. I figured it was for the bugs. Yep, roaches abound in the humid south.

Yes, the ferrets would eat the chickens. Then the roaches.

Collected 15 eggs today. The girls rebounding from the molt. New pullets dropping eggs daily. I need customers.
