I used to hate mango. The texture was always still weird to me. Actually still feel that way about fresh mango but the taste is good. And I like eating stuff with it in it.

Also I find it has to be perfectly ripe. There’s an art to it. Or at least I think so based on the way my dad chooses them and waits to eat them till a certain point. I’ll ask how to tell lol

Cause there’s a point where they’re sweet and soft and delicious. Otherwise they’re nasty lol

It is growing in my living room and this is just the first ripe one. I will be having tomatoes all winter. I have already harvested 5 bell peppers from one pepper plant and the 6th one is ready to pick.

No store bought mango will ever compare to how wonderful a tree ripened mango is.
