Don't get ducks!!!!! Unless it's muscovy. Ducks are loud and messy not something you'll want on 3 acres with neighbors.

Decided to go ahead and bite the bullet...bought a new HP ENVY Photo 7855 on sale and Staples gave me a full exchange on the ink for the old printer.
Finally got it connected to our wireless network going thru the printer since there wasn't a software CD in the box.
Works like a charm.

Do I plant it now or do I wait a couple of days?

You have probably already put it in a bag on top of your refrigerator. A little vinegar will help avoid mold.

That’s the only thing stopping me!!! I think the mess would gross me out!! Though I’ve heard the males aren’t as loud?? But I want to try the eggs so all males are out. Also heard they’re not as happy unless they have girls?

But I think the noise and mess would annoy me.

Are they really so loud they would bother the neighbors from that far away though!?

Some of my hens have very loud egg songs.

And the wild birds are pretty loud here hah

But still. Probably not a good idea.

Are they like.... super loud/constant talkers or just like occasionally chatty orrrr????

But honestly, I think the mess would gross me out!! And I get annoyed constantly having to clean waterers even now with the chickens and it’s not even that often!! So I think ducks with their never having clean water would really bother me and piss off the OCD

Mostly just meant watch cute YouTube videos and dream on hatchery sites

I know they’re a horrible idea though.

Maybe one day if/when I have a pond that I can just turn them loose on....

But for now with having to change an open waterer and/or pool 20 million times a day...
