➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Still no text. Me thinks the delivery man is going to be late again this week.
This driver is clearly lolligagging about. Doesn't he know people are waiting for FRESH eggs? Can you learn the delivery route and plan an ambush?

Did you notice an increase in broodiness as your hens aged? I had two hens not show any sign of broodiness until they were 3 years old. I now have a 5 year old who is starting to make some broody noises on the nest (but still roosting at night).
One of my current broodies, was first broody at about one year old and has had a broody period at least once a year since. She hatched her first clutch at about one and was a great mom. Hatched 4 of six eggs and trained them very well. This is my first time trying since the first time. the second broody (Miss Badness) is her daughter! :yesss:

Interesting point. But is it the destination or the journey that keeps life interesting?

Rather than "yet", I'd say "again". Fourth time is the charm. :fl

Wow! I figured i missed something... you didn't expect me to read all 300 pages i missed when i forgot about this thread, did you??;):lau
