Theoretically they’re supposed to be small but some are mooses lol I just looked up the standard and apparently they’re not supposed to be over like 6 pounds? and ideally at least 3. But I’ve heard of some 10, 12, 15 pound mooses and a lot under 3 with the teacups and stuff haha I think most chihuahuas (and a lot of other breeds) aren’t bred to the show standards so there’s a lot over and under it. Just like all the 100+ pound Labs and GSDs out there.



Sooo small lol like 1, 2, 3 pounds. I bet even 6 would seem like moose’s compared t them.

There’s a lot of fat dogs. even sadder when it’s the little breeds, who it’s even worse for.



Wait tea cup is a real thing? I always thought it was just like a fake term people used like those teacup pigs or something haha if not, I need one cause they’re super cute.

Good news, bad news haha

Good news... had 12 eggs out there.

Bad news... only got to keep 5 out of those 12 because the rest were all cracked open/exploded from freezing

Guess I really do need to start collecting them daily... maybe multiple times daily! Maybe as soon as they lay them!

One other bit of good news though.... my EE pullet finally started laying!!!

I can't stand when people overfeed their dogs. I've seen it a lot with beagles. I want to put them all on a diet. Most people think you shouldn't feel a dogs ribs. Someone told me once to feed my dog... I wanted to drop kick him. She is 13 lbs and perfect weight, the fittest puggle my vet has ever seen.

Yeah people are ridiculous!! So many obese labs and such too!! And soooo many fat pugs, chihuahuas, corgis, etc.

People think they’re supposed to be fat cause they’ve seen so many fat ones so then when they see an actually fit/healthy one they think it’s too skinny and you are “starving your dog” etc.

The worst is when people think fat animals are cute!! I’ve seen sooo many people think that or call them chubby, squishy, fluffy, huggable, thick, etc. or laugh at them waddling and it’s like uhhhh.... no. He’s just obese and he’s gonna die.

I think teacup is just a genetic defect, but I might be wrong. They breed runts so that their offspring stays small. My mom has a teacup Yorkie. His mom and dad were oddly small. Dog cost an arm and a leg too he has dental issues too!

Yeah that’s what I was wondering cause smaller chihuahuas are within the standard. I think they can be like 3 pounds. So it’s not really any smaller, just normal. But then people are breeding 2 or possibly even 1 pound dogs so. :/ some of the other “tea cup” breeds are supposed to be bigger though I think Like 5, 10 pounds so breeding those smaller is probably worse :/

But yes! The toy and teacup and all those “designer” mixed breed dogs are so crazy expensive!!! Even just regular big dogs if you went to a pet store are crazy! You could get a quality dog for that price or a rescue haha

And awww poor guy! I think lots of little dogs do because their teeth are so crowded together.
