I honestly don't know how people can live like that because if I worried about every single detail of my life, I wouldn't have much of a life to begin with.my mom panics over everything too!! And she’s still constantly shouting safety concerns out the door every time I leave lol she also always has some horror story or somebody that died
I would rather live my life to the fullest and die of whatever weird disease I can get from it then staying at home doing nothing.
My mom started yelling at me the other day because there was a stray cat at their house and my youngest and I were trying to catch it so I could bring it to my house... She started screaming at me like I was a child. I completely ignored her and then when I came inside she tried to sass me... EXCUSE ME IM 32 AND AN ADULT

Feral cats never touch my live chickens and the neighborhood dogs are trained, they don't touch them either. They keep away the actual predators though.

Oh wow!! To be fair though it could have fleas or a contagious disease or something that could hurt your cat, should probably take it to a vet or something first, but you couldn’t have gotten anything by catching it I don’t think lolMy mom still tells me what to do too lol think most do
Most of these are just animals that people have ditched because I don't want to take care of them anymore. I feed them and they can live in our shed if they want. Most are very friendly. Neighborhood dogs have an owner and they listen to me. They keep the predators away for me.
It wouldn't hurt any of my animals because it wouldn't be coming inside. It could live in the shed and be an outdoor cat better than it living in the storm drains.

I bring all the animals here to the vet whether it's outside and a stray or my pet.
The only predator that has ever gotten past the dogs is the air predators. Everything that is on the ground they will tear right up or chase off.
I don't think I ever shared the story about the feral cat that we had here... We had a feral cat or a stray cat that somebody ditched and I guess we had a family of moles living at our house. The cat shred them completely and left their skins and fur all over my yard. It looked like a horror movie on my lawn.
That’s sad! I hate when people dump animals.
