Yeah I genuinely wasn’t trying to be disagreeable. I was only saying everything out of concern/curiosity. I didn’t even say anything in a rude way. At least I didn’t think so.

I have to get a picc in my arm and give myself IV antibiotics when I get home... I learned that today. This has just been a series of bad juju all day today.

I'm fine. I think it's funny that they send people home to do IV meds themselves. I have IV meds I do every day but it's not something like antibiotics. I have to be on it for 4 weeks.

I think I put a hole in my tongue eating sour Skittles.

They send you home to do it!? Does seem kind of weird. You’re experienced but what about someone who isn’t!? What if they messed it up? I am sure you will be fine though since you’re used to IVs. Even though it’s not exactly the same it’s probably similar.

And oh no! I’ve done that before with sour patch kids. Numbs your tongue lol hope you’re okay!!

It's because it's for such a long length of time and no pill form will take out a blood infection. They train you on how to do it so you don't mess up so I have to look forward to a nurse coming to my house right after I leave the hospital

I'm going to see If they'll do my training in the hospital. When I go home I want to go home and go to bed.
