I'd be mad if my olive egger laid brown I've seen it happen so many times. Eve laid dark mint green eggs I loved her so much

I’d probably be upset too haha although it can happen. Even with Easter Eggers lol that sounds so pretty!! One of my EEs lays olive actually LOL sort of. It’s like this olive-y green color. Almost looks grey in photos sometimes now but it’s olivey. The other older one lays blue when she lays LOL the new one lays in between blue and green but was more green than blue at first. Now more blue than green lately LOL I actually thought she laid brown at first cause her comb was pretty red and I thought surely she must be laying by now but turns out she just didn’t start till like last month same with the other 3 new girls lol took their sweet time! 9 months old!

Those green eggs are hers. Now I have a lot of pink, cream, brown, and white layers. The chicks I just hatched from the free eggs have the ability to lay olive eggs because they're Eve's brothers. They carry the olive egger gene.

They’re so pretty!! They actually look an extremely similar color to my EE haha

And nice!! I have a lot of brown layers but they lay varying shades of brown. I have one darker one with speckles as well as some more tan/creamy type ones and one that’s sometimes pinkish plus the EEs and my one white layer, the Leghorn. Wish I had gotten more. She’s amazing.

And I hope they lay olive!!

I just had a chick that hatched I'm leaving it in the incubator over night because it needs a friend and one is externally pipped so hopefully it'll hatch soon.
