Ah okay. I always just thought it was just no eating animal products haha but seems it’s usually not wearing them either? Most do seem to be doing that.



Oh yeah no I know but I was trying not be offensive haha I’ve definitely met a lot of savage ones too that give the rest of them a bad name but I know there are cool ones too which is why I said that haha didn’t want to judge them all based on a few.

But some are vicious to meat eaters too and try to force everyone to be vegan haha

And hm that makes sense. It’s so confusing. I’d just call myself vegan even it wasn’t 100% accurate because it’d be more than vegetarian to me aha

But this particular person was insisting vegetarian was only no dairy and stuff too. Like that it couldn’t be just no meat. Like you couldn’t eat dairy and be vegetarian. So it wasn’t just a personal choice. They seemed insistent there was only one definition. They had friends that were and/or read about it and apparently that was the only definition.

Vegetarian has several meanings but vegan doesn't. Lacto vegetarian means you do no meat but dairy ova vegetarian means you eat eggs but not dairy or meat. Pescatarian they don't eat meat but eat fish. There's so many more it's insane.

Donutarian my husband loves chocolate cake donuts. There's a vegan donut shop down the road from us about 20 minutes.

Vegan chocolate cake donuts and vegan lemon poppyseed donuts I don't always eat healthy vegan food

Girl scout thing mints are vegan I can tell you so many vegan unhealthy foods. Oreos, nutter butters, most chips, sweet spicy chili Doritos, some of the frozen pipes are vegan, top ramen soy flavor... I don't eat most of this stuff but some do.

My oldest son's bday cake last year... It's an 18 inch donut that's vegan. It has vanilla frosting. It was so delicious. No one could tell it was vegan!

And yeah, vegans definitely don’t always eat healthy lol everyone seems to think they do or that they like only eat salads but nope lol I’ve seen people be like I thought you were vegan!? To people eating carp and they’re like I never said I ate healthy/cared about my body

It seems like when people get on the subject they both insist they're right when neither practice and both are wrong lol
Its getting to be a pretty big thing in new Orleans with the hipsters and stuff. Some places do both and have totally separate pots, pans, plates, utensils etc. Like 2 restaurants in one

Yeah people have their own definition of everything. I try not to get into it with those people they stress me out. I just eat healthy to live I try not to label myself anything. Only time I do is if the specific food I eat is labeled vegan. Like the vegan cookie dough I buy.

It was so good. When we got it it was fresh and it made the whole car steam up it was hilarious. My husband just laughed when I talk texted this because he remembers that huge donut. It took us over a week to eat.
