I dont know it actually looks like it but I'm going to see if I can find the aircell side of the shell to see if its 2 pieces. I have had this happen before but just a small part of the shell over the hatching egg. I've never heard of a double shell

I've seen an egg inside an egg both shelled it's weird. It was on BYC

The ones pictured are of my hen and an on loan cock. I'm keeping them. I have another clutch of the on loan pair under a brooding hen and the hen of the on loan pair just started laying again so I'll let her hatch those. Clutches 2 and 3 will go home to their owners when they hatch and the brood pair will also.

She's going to peck your eye out chickens crack me up... Better Then what my ducklings do when we go catch them to put them in the coop, they decide that they are going to throw up on us it's a pretty lame defense.
