Get a 3 way bulb. 25, 40, 60. Then use what wattae works... can switch between without removing the bulb.

What air flow? I don't have a fan...this is nuts.Well, never having built an incubator, that's kinda hard to say. It's not the wattage he's concerned about - it's the actual bulb that he hates. So I suppose just about any incandescent bulb (if you can find them in this day and age) will do, from 40 watt to 60 watt. How warm the bater gets depends on the air flow and the size of the bator.

some are labeled to not use in the cans or other 'sealed' fixtures.
