➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

I just candled the one further along egg. In the first two seconds I think I saw a real internal pip. Flashlight battery died.
:barnie
It's charging now.:fl
:celebrate
Very exciting. I have friends coming to visit today and tonight, so I won't be able to follow along. :barnie

At least it was an excuse for me to thoroughly clean the house.

It's not hatching today.
I'm really hoping it does tomorrow though.

I'm not convinced it is a real pip yet though.
I'll have to wait another hour for the dumb flashlight to charge to have a better look see.

So I'm assuming that in the past egg candling was done with an actual candle. Perhaps, in the name of the experiment, you should look up and build the appropriate candle setup and give it a go!

I'm thinkinG something is wrong with this egg now.
The first video is really crappy but you should be able to see.

I'm hiding in a kid's messy closet so don't pay attention to the mess.
You’re not fooling anyone kiki.
That’s an egg clubhouse.

I mean, it looks like an internal pip to me. Aren’t they supposed to look kind of triangular?
Like Jon Snow, I know nothing, sorry.

I'm phoning a friend.
@Pyxis wake up!
@WVduckchick take a work break.
@NanaKat quit playing with your babies.

What the heck am I seeing in the above post?

I'm wondering if it's a real pip this time or if the membrane is detached or something.
I really have no idea but I don't think it looks normal.
