It's too bright out to candle so for now here are a few thing that you will want to avoid when you don't try this experiment. These things are no bueno.

@ronott1 I saw a video of a group who managed to get them to hatching age before the last one died.
I'm wondering if you could take an egg, cut an oval out of the side, and use superglue and heavy clear plastic to make a window into it, before incubating. Any thoughts, incubator-users? Anyone younger want to do that as a school science project? I want to see it!

I did but a electric, plug in, thermostat thing to use as a wafer!

It's been done a few times and is common for CAM research. Let me find videos.

There once was a thread of a guy who was trying to hatch a shellless egg...I'm mobile again...which means I can't search. Someone Be Why See it please.
