➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Omg. I can't get caught up. . but @KikisGirls
Your hygrometer/thermometer looks almost like the one I just bought. . and the humidity only read 67% during the salt test instead of 75% like it should.
I bought another digital one that's for reptiles and it doesn't read correctly either.

Luckys eggs weren't blue
You take the reading you get from the salt test,/calibration and either add or subtract the % diff from the current reading in the bator to determine the % humidity. Ex: calibrated hyrometer reading 67% Rh
75 - 67 ÷ 75 × 100 = -10.66% or -11% Th
If reading higher, 75 - 82 ÷ 75 × 100 = 9.33%Rh so by the example your hygrometer is reading 11% low, actual %Rh is 78% Rh, that's still off but closer than what you were reading/believing the humidity was in the bator. HTH

I wish I knew yoga breathing or what ever you call it....meditation?

Lamaz breathing. Just like giving birth. HeeHeeHee, HooHooHoo. repeat until the contractions pass. Ursaline should be your hatching coach.

I might have just boiled them and you want me to try to drown them now?
Are you nuts!?

You rang, madam?

I'm here for you!

Sooo....you brought us all together here to let us know you like your balut cooked???
:lau
Just kidding. If it was only for an hour they should be fine. It’s S’s turn to sleep.
THANKS.
I peed my pants!

I really needed that laugh too because I think I have just ruined my experiment!

I used the flashlight app and candled both real quick and then took a walk outside.

At this point there is nothing I can do.
I'm going to try to control my poor little fast beating heart but I don't think this is going to work.

I am 99.8% sure that this would have worked in a real bator.

This makes a whole lotta sense.
Thanks!
