Maybe it is not a good idea to try to do both types of balut this time.

Don't chicken and duck need different temps, humidity, and time/days?

I'm not ready for this staggered hatch crap.


I want to stick with the duck eggs because I KNOW they will work, but am thinking the chicken eggs might be better/easier?

It's a mini size flashlight but very powerful!

aww that just ruins the whole picture now .

chick eggs are finky as hell well to me anyway. I has 16 eggs out of 27 I put in left kicking I'm down to 13 eggs now and the temp has hardly moved on them!

I'm reading your thread right now and it just reminded me that maybe I should close up my monster hole on the top of the ghetto bator?

But if I close it up...I am going to have to figure out how to get the lightbulb inside.

why don't you get a piece of glass for the top and turn it into a viewing hole. and cut a hole in the side just big enough for the light to fit in and you can seal it up
