BTW..the real bator has not arrived yet.
I have not left the house...which means I didn't visit The Man.

I've been busy testing the ghetto bator.
If I could just leave it alone for a while and remember to write the times down I would have a better idea of how long it's taking to heat up once I mess with it.
I might have a problem keeping my hands off of it.
BUT...there are no eggs in it right now so I'm taking advantage of this time!

I know why the eggs died.
What I want to know is:

1. What kind of duck they are, if possible.
2. What day/age am I looking at.
3. What is the green on W.
4. Is there really that much yellow in a duck...is this yellow all of the stuff that gets absorbed?
5. I want you all to know that is was harder for me to post the pictures here than it was to actually open up the egg. And opening up the egg was horrible.

Amazingly I happened upon your thread when there only 3 other posts, I have been reading the incubation forums because I have my first set of eggs in a used unreliable incubator so I was also quickly self teaching (The bator came with a dozen heritage hatching eggs that needed to be incubated right away)

I checked back like 10 minutes later and the post had grown like wildfire, so I continued to follow. Finally I had to join BYC because as a member it would take me to where I left the thread instead of having to scroll through and search.

I am ashamed to say that I checked this thread the other night when I was up in the middle of the night

@KikisGirls, I did not come from Facebook, I did not know that BYC even had a FB page til I read this thread. I am just and honest to goodness old school lurker. I am a fairly sarcastic person and that tends not to translate well to forums so I tend to avoid them....lol
