What is a normal meal in your area?
What is something that the "regulars" there cook at home?

Well a popular meal in the UK is fish and chips ( chunky fries) I joke u not I live like 6 doors down from a fish and chip shop. The hubby likes more American food think chili cheese fries,tacos etc. Most Brit food is lacking flavor. Hell sometime I think cardboard has more flavor then some Brit food
