Is there a button/wheel on your hydrometer? Since the humidity in there IS 75 your hydrometer is off by 2 degrees. There should be a device on it so you can take it out and quickly change the reading to 75. Find the button BEFORE you take it out so you can change it quickly.

Wow, you got a good one! 73 - 75 ÷ 75 x 100 = -2.66 or -3% diff. so you will need to add 3% to whatever the monitor is reading in the ghetto bator.
Ex: monitor reads 46%Rh, add 3 = 49%Rh

So I am not going to worry so much about the humidity gauge thing anymore.
I need to calibrate the glass thermometer though..so I don't have to worry about it.
