My Dom didn't make it to adulthood but she wasn't huge. I'd think Orpington or Brahma or Marans before Dominique for big chickens.

Over hear Dom's are seen in the same category as the ones you listed I have to admit I love my Brahmas I also bought buff Orpingtons hatching eggs and plan to buy some maran eggs at some point.. like after I hatch some turkeys lol

My BCM aren't bodily much bigger but when you pick them up they are pretty hefty.

Black copper Maran. There is also FBCM, french black copper maran. The French standard has feathered legs and feet. The BCM English standard has clean legs and feet

I have BMC's and BCM mixed as well as 1 lone EE, the old lady of the bunch, about 7 years old, she lays blue eggs. Hadn't layed in the longest time and graced us with a beautiful blue egg Christmas Day. She has been laying 2 or 3 times a week since! I keeping waiting, as I know one day she will stop giving us eggs permanently and just become the "pet chicken" in the flock.
ETA: Mine are French with feathered feet, My bad.

We mostly have FBCMs here--We adopted the French Standard
