➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

He laughed and reminded me he is NOT a chicken vet...he has not done any homework on chickens.

He poke Bobo with a needle!
Poor dog didn't mind the needle one bit but the digging poop out of his but to test for worms pissed him off.

This is what we are using to get rid of the tapeworms poor Bobo has!
He was infested with fleas when he was delivered here to me. Poor thing.

I about DIED when I saw worms last night and couldn't wait for my already scheduled Monday appointment so I took him as soon as the vet opened today.

Also the fecal was negative for all worms.
Good thing I had videos and pictures of the 3 worms he pooped out last night!

And one more thing I learned was that it is better to feed fake dogs wet food only!
I am still pretty shocked about this.

Even better IMO is a RAW diet, for digestive health - enzymes etc.

I had a rat dog for 16 plus years and I never fed her wet food and was never advised to.

Bobo eats his dry food just fine...I think ( I do take a mallet to it to break it up for him) I am debating on if I really should switch him to wet food.

I wonder if you can soak the dry food to soften it for him.

I am not a fan of wet food for dogs. It always created extra stinky soft stools in my dogs. That includes the foster shitzu we had here. Poor thing was just 5 pounds when he came here and full of Texas fleas.
I didn't think to ask the vet this but I go back in a few weeks for the second round of shots and will.
I am pretty sure it will work though.
BUT he doesn't have a problem eating his dry food..so I' not going to stress about switching him to wet right now.

He opened a can of wet food to trick the pup into eating the pill and sent that can home with me.
I'll finish it and think more about moving him to wet full time.

I detest fleas!!!!

Before we did the foster for the little guy my SIL brought fleas here from florida!!

Freaking nightmare to deal with. Oxy clean sprinkled on the carpet and vacuum out 24 hours later then shampoo and repeat in 5 days is what finally got them out of the house. Flea dip not powder worked on the dogs and cats.
maybe pass the info on to you know who.
