I know this isn't related at all, but it is where all the cool kids hang out. So, is there any health risk to my flock if I buy a pre-owned coop?

My first thought was Marek's can be present in dander from the previous residents. Perhaps mites. But Kiki has been doing the disease study so I hope she chimes in.

Re: miniature horses: My son is 6 and he likes horses, but he is terrified of full size ones. He does not like to ride, just brushing, petting, feeding etc. He is comfortable around the minis because they are more his size. Also, there is a stable around here for disabled children that have minis! They also bring the minis to nursing homes
