DD got her first library card at age 5, She was so proud, DH used to take her to the library every week, now she can walk the 4 blocks herself.

We always join the summer reading contests at our local library.
They give away neat free stuff.
Tickets to the zoo, free books, museum tickets...all kinds of cool stuff.

DD gets free 1 year membership for the family to Zoo, aquarium and insecterium as well as discount to I Max for high grades. Really good incentive to keep those grades up!

We go to the aquarium on DD's good grades. Thank God and we see most movies on pay per view, with our own pop corn and hot dogs. LOL Can't remember the last time I saw a movie in the show! DD goes sometimes with friends, etc.

Last time I was inside a movie theater was either red dawn, meatballs 3 or ET whichever was the latest to come out lol.
Am going on the pontoon swamp boat tours tomorrow that's more my style lol.

ok forgive me for my dumbness again but who is DD and DH is it short for like ur kids or significate other i dont know bout or what heh

Also its refreshing to see how many ppl dont have TV or just use antennas still and more involved with community events and such, now a days its a rarity to see this anymore most of the time its electronics this or electronics that its sad compaired to how i grew up i had a nintendo with one game that i would play either 1 when i wasnt in school and or working, i was full time working at11 years old on the family farm, id get up at 2 am drive my happy ass to the barn with dad he left at 3 am for his second job and i finished up by 6am to go home and get ready for school, then the minute i got home from school i was back at the barn till 8 or 9 depending on how things went. Kids now a days dont know what work is, its dishearting ....now im rambling im sorry kudos to everyone here my hats off to you!!!

I think people use the DD for darling daughter and darling husband for DH.

I use a four letter word in place of the word darling.
