Did you plant it this spring or last fall?
I plant hard neck in Oct-Nov and harvest in July.
I'm about to harvest mine here soon...just a couple dozen plants.
Used to do a couple hundred.

My cat drinks out of the faucet. He jumps up and yells at us, or follows us from room to room yelling until someone turns on the faucet somewhere. He needs a drinking fountain so he can help himself. It's so annoying.

I know I am SUPPOSED to plant it in fall, but I happened to have some from the farm store and on my kitchen counter this spring that had already sprouted so I stuck them in the ground. I figured with the weather here it's like the fall anywhere else

Your system is so organized! Mine are pretty messy. It's on my to do list to hang the garlic this week and figure out what to do with the onions. I'll hang a few, but they don't last the way garlic does.

Plus y'all are thoroughly entertaining Between this thread and my little fluff balls, I forsee a whole lot of nothing getting done today... except making tuna sandwiches, seeing as how I'm now craving them!
