That is what is so funny about them. They are real.

I almost died on the spot. I didn't say a word for maybe 10 minutes. Total shock.

LOL.
This one isn’t so bad. My bachelorette was super tame, bunch of church friends and homeschool moms who taught me through highschool and still saw me as a kid (this was the party my mom threw for me, FYI). It was very quiet and awkward, no one knew me “that way.”

My MIL gets up to give me her present, winks and proudly says “you’ll love it, it’s practical for riding horses AND riding cowboys.”
Then someone gave me an “article of clothing” that was red plaid. My sister in laws made lumberjack “handling wood” jokes for the rest of the night.
One of them gave me chains. Literal body chains. It was a very long uncomfortable silence of everyone staring while I tried to figure out what they were and where they went.

Wouldn’t have been so bad if all the other moms weren’t too prude to laugh. I was in tears and red as a beet.

I would love to see this video.

View attachment 1461731 This broody has been off her eggs AGAIN and we are on Day 19. It’s not even hot out today. Another hen got them all poopified because she wouldn’t stay on them and let them walk all over the nest but I can’t clean them off without risking her not staying on them. She’s been broody for close to two months now because she’s been failing at her job and none of them have made it. She’s such a mean hen as it is, constantly chasing our young ones around when she’s off the nest. If these don’t hatch I’m just going to let her sit on nothing until she gives up or dies. Never getting Marans again, that’s for sure.

Day 19...I don't think I would worry too much they should be about ready to bust out.
Have you been candling them?

@honanbm I just had the Mex show me how to work that thing.
He says he needs to take it apart because the connection is bad.
How he knows this I have no idea.

It only lights up. He said no music.
I informed him that this was NOT going in my bedroom and that if he thinks he is going to hang it it will have to be the garage.
He said, "Pffff!"

I have but I honestly couldn’t tell if they were still viable or not. I could see some veining in two of them but none of the eggs smelled so I left them with her. I last candled about two days ago. I just hope she isn’t getting restless after sitting so long. Luckily I have an back up if she does quit.

No way in the world I would leave unknown eggs under a broody if I had one.
I'd be scared they'd explode.
