Crowing
You’re sure it’s alive? I’m trying to understand how it wouldn’t have drowned with no air cell at the pipping stage and all that fluid.
Yea I can see it moving should I open it up and drain the liquid?

I dont know whether to aw or laugh its so precious and funny at the same time.
Mine tooThat leg stretch makes me giggle every time. They are too cute. So glad they’re doing well; I have learned that hatches are exciting but stressful.
And good morning all! I can say that because it’s before noon.
My chicks from ideal should be hatching today, I think.![]()
I decided to go with fajita meat tacos. I don't know what it's called in English. Birds Spanish for that matter.I'm not cooking today. My mom is making Carne asada tacos and we're all heading over there to massacre her kitchen. I'm hoping I can catch the roosters to take to her.
Woot. How many did you order. I forget.Mine too![]()
I'm thinking I would start to slowly pick away some shell to get a better look.I need some quick advice. Ok so the quail egg is still making no progress in except for the external pip (remember it has no air sac so it's internal pip is the external pip as well) should I break away at the shell where the chick started cracking it to see what's going on? It also looks like the chick started zipping about a day ago because the crack is longer then an external pip crack. The chick is still alive at the moment I just don't know what to do or how long to wait since I've never dealt with an egg with no air sac...
He is darker too.Street Food has a larger bill than Narco!!!![]()
They will be fine with no added heat. I promise!I’m not even providing a heat lamp. I’m going to see how they do without any added heat (95f days, 75f nights). If they look too hot I can bring them in, and if they look too cold I have a heating pad I can provide.
I’m HOPING it will be just right for them and a fuzzy object will be enough for heat/comfort.
