So while we are waiting for Kiki to send pics of duckies swimming in the baby pool, I have a new question for all our peeps on this thread. I have another broody, should I let her hatch half a dozen eggs, if I can get them? or should I just try to break her? I only have 1 Blue Copper Marans pullet, and think she may need friends. What do all of you think?

It's so hard to ID chicks! The little chickmunk ones could be a lot of things -- amaraucanas, easter eggers or sussex. The black one could be an australorp, or maybe a maran.

It will be fun to watch them get older and guess again.

She knows what breeds she ordered s we should be able to figure out who is who real easily.
