Hahaha! I do like realism, I find nailing the anatomy and structure very satisfying. In that sense I don’t want to branch out, but I’m also a sucker for the spooky and creepy. It might, one day. I thought my brain would never function in such a fashion. Hyper realism only, which I was good at but bored by. I still can't do the thick stroke minimalist style (I wish, but my hands hate it).
I think your background in your last rooster painting is an amazing start into the realm beyond. You have the surrealism in you. Just gotta tap into it. Though if I had your talents in realism, I might not
I think that's why colors are such a great start. It bleeds into other areas and thoughts to really invoke some interesting ideas. Then you can't stop!
Don't say I didn't warn you. Acid chickens. Scary stories backgrounds. It's your calling.
Goodnight! I’m off too.Good night all, enjoyed the conversation. See you tomorrow![]()
Now I have not watched anything in days, this has peeked my interest...On top of chickens, crafting, and jeeping, I am a bit of a prepper...would love a bunker, but not for 20....someone would annoy me and get voted out....lolThere is an old military base in southern California with these bunker things...this episode is going to show how this guy transforms a bunker into a house for 20 plus people to live in!
This one is going to be neat!
He leases the bunkers for 99 years.
This show is pretty cool!
I agree with you! Too many people will tick me off before long... Unless animals count as people? Now I have not watched anything in days, this has peeked my interest...On top of chickens, crafting, and jeeping, I am a bit of a prepper...would love a bunker, but not for 20....someone would annoy me and get voted out....lol
I have 27 animals, they are all welcome, dogs provide doggy stuffs, chickens and duck eggs and meat and sheep lamb chopsI agree with you! Too many people will tick me off before long... Unless animals count as people?
I'm the same with landscaping. If I'm planting a tree, I want it to be dual purpose. Pecans, walnuts or fruit of some kind, but the rest of my family are like, let's plant an oak tree. "Oak trees are majestic and give lots of shade", yeah, in about fifty years!I have 27 animals, they are all welcome, dogs provide doggy stuffs, chickens and duck eggs and meat and sheep lamb chops, unless I can eat you or you have a unique skill, your out....
Love your style!!Also, I should mention that it's HUGE!!!! Bout 3 feet wide and over that tall.
I'm working on some weird Nordic stuff right now that I want turned into chainsaw thingies.
Um, here are a couple unfinished things. I like working on black paper. These are oil pastel.
It's the same deal for me. I've seen others do this too. My theory is that realism is needed until you build up enough of a mental 'library' of proportions and shading on things. Then, once you learn the rules, you can break them with style.Would you believe that I did nothing but complete realism until a couple years ago? I swear...
