➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

As much as I LOVE high altitudes, I had my first real sunburn AND first asthma attack on the same hiking trail in Colorado. Definitely not as much of an issue in muggy sea-level Houston.
Brutal. Sounds like a not fun time. Whereabouts were you? There's so much of Colorado that I would love to see and only a few places that I've been.

It is 108° up here today in DFW, last Wednesday it was 114° in the shade. But we must be having a cold front coming in, it's supposed to be 98° on Saturday!
It’s been so miserable here in the metroplex. Up in North Ft. W we were at 112°. Supposedly we are FINALLY having the A/C fixed tomorrow but this supposedly has been going on for two months now. :barnie It’s like standing in an oven everywhere you go!

Next Monday is going to feel awesome

Cans! The only olives that come in jars around here are Greek olives, which admittedly, are far more delicious than the black olives in cans ;)
Ahhh yes cans they definitely come in those too! I’ve only seen jars though. My cousin loooooves them and can eat them like candy. :sick

Your olives come in jars???

We buy huge jars of Spanish olives stuffed with bits of pimentos. I think I was in high school when I learned that fresh olives have a pit in the middle instead.

I did used to love eating the black olives as a kid... stuck them on all my fingers and then ate them all off.
