Listen to the Ginger.Y’all crack me up lmao. I was sleeping, I almost tore the poor Ginger’s head off for waking me up. I’ll let y’all know what the doc says but I’m almost positive he’s not gonna know anything about specific bug bites.
I read this out to him and he says “yea! That’s exactly what I have to do!”
I really HATE going to the doctor.

Jumping ahead here, have not caught up yet. But, On a joint I would not take a chance. Unless you actually saw the spider that bit you, I would have it checked, as you may need antibiotics, either way, because it is on a joint. (just the opinion of a better safe than sorry RN) Good luck hope it heals quickly.I don’t think so. It’s pretty tender.
See the little bite mark in the middle? The Ginger thinks it’s a bite from a “regular” spider.

That could indicate "lime disease" not good and should be treated ASAP@Tesumph Hubby said if there is any color change to a bluish or grey black inside a red circle you need to get to a doctor ASAP. It will be black widow or fiddleback.
If a family member or neighbor takes nitro, you should get a pill for the paste with Neosporin.

I am surrounded by mothers!
Doctor didn’t know what bit me, as suspected. I have a very slight fever and he said the firmness/heat of the bite wasn’t good. I’ve got a 10 day round of antibiotics and I’m supposed to keep it iced and elevated, but it should be fine.
