It came back on and then went down again two more times. It's up now. Usually when the power goes out because of the heat, it's not because of the actual temperature but because so many people in our grid have the AC running on high at the same time after not running it for winter/spring. The surges overwhelm the transformer and it reboots. If it gets too big a surge it can explode.

Oh dang! That sucks, definitely has never happened here. Are the maintence crews for your area as slow and lazy as the ones here?
