Nah, she never did that, not even soap. She didn't even hit us really. She was good at psychological fear instead. If we dared to act up in a store, she would grab us by the arm, plaster a huge grin on her face and hiss a threat in our ear. Usually along the lines of "Take a good look around, cause this is the last time you'll ever see this store again." I used to think she was going to murder us, but we just got grounded.

Lawd I know I cannot be the only one who considers heavy cream a staple in the kitchen... i make pasta sauce with it all da time. Now that'll put the fat on, but it's just so good! The only bisque I've ever made was shrimp and corn. It was super duper good too, but I seriously doubt anywhere near as good as your grandmas!

I drink my coffee with heavy cream and I do love shrimp and corn bisque, as does my whole family. We use heavy cream for lots of stuff also, always in the ice box.

Yes to the coffee! The best cup of coffee has heavy cream imo! Yummy!
