Oh and I forgot to ask, Tes (or anyone), do you like Issues or Emarosa? What other bands do you like?

Also is it too early for me to call you that?
Never too early for nicknames! You can call me anything you like. ;)

I don’t think I know Issues but I’ve heard Emarosa, not a whole lot though.
My favorite band is mewithoutyou if that wasn’t obvious already. Lately we’ve had DGD’s new album on nonstop but I also listen to a lot of Manchester orchestra, from Indian lakes, tiny moving parts, as cities burn, brand new, modern baseball... to name a few off the top of my head.
Hubby is into Pierce the Veil but I don’t listen to them as much.

My main focus will be coffee, baked goods & finger foods, deep fried pickles being the specialty. There's nothing anywhere around here except a restaurant that is only open from 10am-7pm. So there's nowhere to just grab a coffee. I used to manage a Starbucks, plus have worked concession at fairs, so I've got the experience behind me.
My biggest obstacle is finding somewhere to set the trailer. Once I can do that I still may just do it.
:fl:fl
Sounds like a fabulous plan!

Never heard of any of these. Going to have to check a few out.

Okay cool! Just didn't want to offend or be awkward or anything haha

And wow we do have somewhat similar tastes :D

I listen to a lot of smaller/local bands too, not just local to here but like smaller touring bands I guess? Some of them are getting bigger now though

Like I love 7 Minutes In Heaven, Marina City, Sleep On It, etc. And also Set It Off, State Champs, Yellowcard, All Time Low, We The Kings, etc.

But I listen to like everything lol

It makes sense you've heard of Emarosa cause according to Wikipedia they've had a lot of history with DGD haha some of the same members and stuff. Pretty interesting. Click history and scroll to like the 2010 part.

But they got the current vocalist in 2014 and I think he's better than Jonny Craig but I never really listened to them before so can't say for sure. The new vocalist is Bradley Walden and he's very talented imo. He was in a band called Squid The Whale before. Maybe give them another try :D

And Issues I haven't listened to much but they're good imo. Although they recently got rid of their screamer and there's some controversy there because he was in the band since they started it & did other projects together before and the controversy is like whether he left by choice/mutual agreement like they say or whether he was forced out because they wanted to change the sound cause in his statement he kinda said he did not leave. But idk. Doesn't really matter. I try not to get involved in drama LOL but live shows should be interesting now because that means Tyler will have to pick up the screaming? Or have backing tracks. They were always a dynamic duo. Oh well. I do wish I had seen them live before Michael left though. I had the chance at Warped a few years ago but I wasn't really into them then. :(

Anyway, I love this song by them and I also LOVE this cover. I admit I'm slightly obsessed with it... :lau

And here's some good Emarosa ones from the newest album.

And here is a reimagined version of Helpless if you wanna cry LOL

And here is Bradley's old band.

And a cover they did.

It's good but I personally prefer this one.

And speaking of good covers:

And I like that Grayscale changed the message to be about positivity/self love if you watch the video. :)

And actually volume 6 of the Punk Goes Pop thing is loaded with great covers. :) there's a couple I don't like but most are good which is kinda rare with the PGP albuns hahah

But no I don't only listen to PGP lol

Interesting! I will have to give some of those a go. I usually stick to a handful of bands and only branch out if Spotify suggests a random killer song haha.
