➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Wasn't able to talk to the driver, but the chicks were at the local post office this morning and, thankfully, were still alive. I had a tortuous 40 minute wait, where I could hear peeps through the back door to the post office, but there wasn't anyone there yet to let me in.

The chicks were not in great shape, but some TLC and nutri-drench has helped. 6 look really good now, and the 7th is hanging in there.
I’m so glad you were able to get them in your care. Prayers that they recover from their ordeal quickly. :hugs

Good evening everyone! I don't know how active I'll be tonight. I had chores unreasonably early, and I've only napped a few hours instead of actual sleep.

Azul is determined to prove that being the smallest doesn't make her the weakest so she caught and ate a foot long snake alive today. It was still wiggling when she swallowed it.

Poor Wasabi had to neutering appt today so he's not happy. He also hates the cone of shame and can't figure out corners. But at least he's walking around now. The first few hours he just refused to move and stood there like a statue, wherever to put him.

Poor Mr. no nuts.
I hope he is back to his first FEISTY (is what I typed! :barnie)self soon...after he heals.
I sucked at keeping the cone of shame on Cobra but I did leave it for the first few days.
He managed to get it caught on the outlet wall plate thing and it broke it in half.
Which reminds me I still need to replace that thing.

I also think that is a requirement!:celebrate
I seem to always have the time to do it during the middle of the day when it isn't even dark in that room.
I want to go candle but I don't feel like getting up out of bed to do so.
