➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Oh my gosh, that is some beautiful organizing right there. I don’t even do quilting stuff and I want to hang out in your craft store haha!
I can’t remember if you mentioned a surgery before, but get well soon. :)
Well I have not spoke of my surgery, after a 14year maintain of 150lb weight loss I went in to have the girls reinflated..so far very happy, not dolly Parton size, I look the same as I did with padded pushup bras, but now naruralish

Wow! Love that!

This sounds amazing and super sound. Is this the normal way to build where you live? I don't know much about building but that's just impressive to me. I wonder if that would work in Louisiana but I don't know how far down you'd have to go to hit bedrock here (this is way out of my lane but my curiosity is peaked!) Did you all have your home built? I'm just imagining it doesn't get more structurally sound than that.
No, it is not normal, in fact we had to talk to three builders before we found one that had even done pier and beam. Our foundation is probably a smidge over engineered but we didn't want to mess with foundation issues. We did have the house built so we could do it to our specs. We had them come out and do core samples in three different places before the foundation was engineered so we knew what we were dealing with.

This video has got me all up in my feels! Its incredible! Your pics are great too. I think I've mentioned before how I've wanted to visit the Oregon coast since I was a child and this is driving the sentiment home for me. I will visit someday!

I am home recouping from surgery and have bought a lot of crap to make hooked rugs and punch needle embroidery.....and let's not tell the husband unit how much quilt fabric has been purchased over the last few days :) he already calls my craft room a craft store
Holy Cow! I thought that WAS a store when looking at the pics. I loved some of the punch needle things I saw but it looked too small and detailed for me... but I'll probably try it at some point. Can I come play in your craft room? Pretty Please!

No thank you....I did retail for many years, front end dealing with customers and then on the back end ordering merchandise....I now work at Boeing.....not what most may think... not the lazy b any more. The world is changing.....also my husband is self employed and I do all of the books..............but with my years of custom framing I did just order a professional mat cutter....and needed accessories.......

LOL! I don't feel so bad with my one tote in the closet for my crochet toys and one tote for rug hooking toys.

@honabm thanks for sharing your pics.... I've lost them in the thread by now but they looked fantastic. We went to Cannon Beach Oregon for a vacation one year, this may have to get added to the list. Next year we are going to a place on Vancouver Island known for its weather and winter storms on the beach. Perfect quiet vacation for us.
