I'll have to watch Evil Genius and Mindhunters. I love crime shows but only if they are realistic. Law and order is about as far as I can handle and they are at least based on real cases. All of the CSI, etc. drive me crazy. My favorite is forensic files!

Watch Mindhunters. It's a true story about how the FBI developed the BAU back in the 70's. Super cool.

Does anyone use elderberry for allergy/ cold prevention & relief? Just wondering if the syrups you can buy work and if I need to look for anything specific when choosing the one I buy.

I used it the last time I got a cold and it seemed like the cold wasn't as bad.

My mom uses elderberry every year during winter. Swears by it.
I can't attest to it's wonders, I'm one of those weirdos that almost never gets sick.

ETA: She uses the capsules, not the syrup.

Zinc is the only thing I know of that is proven to shorten/prevent a cold, but only if you take it a first sign of illness or exposure.

I've got another question about culling.
Has anyone here ever tried shooting in the head?
My husband thinks that'll be quicker, but I don't know. I don't think he'd miss but it still freaks me out. He has snake bullets...

I'm not sure, but won't the noise freak out the other chooks on death row?

Some people do it that way. I use the broomstick method.

What Conan said. Mindhunters is the true story of how the FBI started diagnosing “serial killers.”
The psychology side of it makes me so excited, almost makes me wish I wasn’t going into veterinary medicine hehe. There’s a lady psychology professor character in there who I’m mildly obsessed with.

ETA- I can’t stand unrealistic “fluff” in shows as well. CSI stuff pisses me off.
