I come from a hunting family and eat primarily elk when it comes to red meat. It never has that gamey taste :idunno. They die well and are quickly gutted, skinned, and quartered in the field.
I have had gamey meat. I'm not sure if it's because the animal didn't die right away and released adrenaline into the meat or if the animal wasn't gutted soon enough. Maybe a little bit of both.
I myself do not hunt, but I would like to. I get most of my meat from my uncle and cousin. Both avid hunters.

My fam hunts a lot too and I get a lot of venison this way. I've had gamey tasting venison and in my experience it had to do with the processing of the meat. I think bleeding it out has something to do with it but I have heard that if the animal doesn't die quickly it affects it too.

I feel like you BETTER be drinking! I'd expect nothing less.

X2 it's Friday right? And she's at a concert AND all dolled up! It's time to cut loose! Go Kiki! Knock em dead!

ETA: Y'all I was dead serious when I just typed it's Friday! I have lost my damn marbles! Allergy meds got me spinning right now!:gig

I wear sandals almost constantly but I do have a few pair of wedges on hand if I need a little extra height. Heels were ruined for me in my 8 years I spent in banking when dressing up was a daily requirement. I'm so over them it isn't even funny but I still love cute shoes. Crocs are a hard no for me. I do have a pair of Toms but they are suede boots with a wedge heel. My Plaka sandals with braided straps are life right now.
You would be so sicked out by my crocs. I got them at a second hand store in Colorado for six dollars over a year ago. They are lime green and covered in dirt and have stain on them (from staining the greenhouse). I wear them to work every day, always without socks.
