Holy crap - I just burst out laughing so hard!!! This might be the funniest thing you've ever said.

I'm alive...barely. I am not sure if the loudness, headbanging or the beer gave me this headache or a combo of all three. I can't even talk because my throat hurts so bad from yelling I mean singing so much. I will catch up eventually. My phone battery died last night.

Yay! Congrats on the chick, if she hatched by herself I would not mess with the eggs at this point, just let them do their thing for another 24ish hours. At that point decide if intervention is needed for the remaining eggs. If the first chicks were shipped eggs, then they likely started developing during the shipment. Did you candle them during pre-lockdown at all? It's possible they might be the only ones who developed from the shipped eggs.

I candled with my phone light and pulled clears. Most of them looked like they were full and dark before lockdown but I did leave anything questionable in.
The chick hatched unassisted so I’ll let them sit for a while longer.

My brain hurts looking at that. And I like math.
The calculator I am seeing online shows 1000 milligrams to 1 milliliter. So I am looking at 5 pounds of bird * 0.45 mg/pound = 2.25 mg. Then divide by 1000 to convert from milligrams to milliliters of the medicine solution = 0.00225 ml.
Is that right or am I missing something?

Yeah, this is where I am having a hard time communicating.
I agree that the amount needed for a 5-pound bird is 2.25 mg, but if 1 ml of Safeguard = 100 mg of medication the 0.00225 number doesn't work.
Does this make things easier?
