This knowledge is what kept me from getting them! I love ducks and ducklings are just so cute but until I have an actual pond they can swim in I'm just not up to the maintenance of them.

Not long. I think it was only 5 days...I'm not sure but I didn't mind not having to clean up after them anymore. Two poopers is better than how many you have to clean up after.:hugs
 
I am so done with poop patrolling these quail. I am taking the plywood floor back out of the cage outside tomorrow and they are going out. Their feet are big enough now. I will have things of dirt for them to play I but I want the wire floor so bad now for the poop to fall through.
