➡I accidentally bought Balut eggs: 2 live ducks! Now a Chat Thread!

Just got an update about the boys!
Red saw their hens and immediately integrated himself into the flock, and the EE is still timid about the situation (that’s normal for him though).*

*I know that’s not good biosecurity practices but that’s their choice. Both of our boys were extremely healthy birds.

Two babies now. I took video of the second baby hatching; I think it maybe took over half an hour from when I noticed the zip 1/3 of the way around the shell to the chick being able to sit up in the shell. Both chicks are colors I don't have already so I am super excited and hoping they make it to adulthood.

How is silly neck doing?

At store no, milk $3.69 but today it's on sale for $3.49, store brand is $1 cheaper but at other stores you can get it way cheaper than that, bread... today I discovered we have expensive tastes LOL ranges from $4 to $4.50 for any of the kinds we get, mid range like $3.50 and of course the $2 and $1 something breads. But I could probably find that same bread at another store and we didn't need any so didn't buy any. Cheapest eggs I see are $1.49 for 1 dozen large white grade A eggs, not cage free or anything. Brown is 10 cents more. But I know Walmart and other stores have them much cheaper. Debating to buy. We have chickena but my friend has zero food and they aren't producing THAT much... Think I'll just wait. Gas I just recently got and it was $2.89 which I think is high
